Rosatom OCCS is included in the Register of Accrediting Organizations of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation 2

On May 25, an on-site inspection took place – the final stage of the professional and public accreditation (POA) program of additional professional education of the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering “Scientific, Technical and organizational aspects of the decommissioning of nuclear power plants”.

The examination was carried out for compliance with the professional standard “Design Engineer for decommissioning of nuclear energy facilities (approved by the Order of the Ministry of Labor dated 15.04.2019 No. 249n)”.

As part of the POA educational program , the following events took place:

– Expert session: immersion of experts (meeting to discuss the methodology of the examination, filling out expert sheets and conclusions);

– Documentary verification of the self-examination report of the educational organization;

– On-site inspection at the educational organization’s base (including an introductory meeting with the Vice-rector for Education of the NRU MGSU and the Deputy chairman of the Council for Professional Qualifications in the Field of Atomic Energy (SEC in the Field of Atomic Energy), a meeting with developers and teaching staff of the accredited program).

Representatives of JSC “REIN”, JSC “TVEL”, JSC “Akkuyu Nuclear” took part in the expert commission. The powers of all experts are approved by the SEC in the field of atomic energy.

On June 23, the results of the examination of the program of additional professional education of the NRU MGSU were considered at a meeting of the Accreditation Council of the SEC in the field of atomic energy and a positive decision was made to issue a Certificate of POA.

The project on professional and public accreditation (POA) of educational programs has been implemented by the OCCC since the end of 2018. At the moment, experts of the Rosatom State Corporation have visited 5 educational organizations and evaluated 18 educational programs of various levels, ranging from bachelor’s degree to advanced training and retraining programs for employees of the construction complex of the nuclear industry.
